Nomatic Travel Pack Backpack

It seems like everyone is making a backpack these days. We know because we have a garage full of some that we never fell in love with. And while Phil still relies primarily on his Peak Design bags* for carrying our big camera equipment, it’s our Nomatic collection that’s our go-to for lightweight, organized travel—for the entire family. We actually have several Nomatic backpacks and slings that we take on every trip. The kids love them for lugging their laptops, tablets, and travel gear, and because they’re compact and slim (until you open the expansion slot), they’re easier to carry even on little bodies. And the thought that went into the design is unmatched, which probably explains why their Kickstarter campaign broke records when they launched it.

*If Nomatic’s Peter McKinnon backpack had launched before our Peak Design purchase, we likely would have gone that route instead.
