One perfect day in Savannah, Georgia
Our jet-setting family is on a quest to experience 110 distinct cultures across all 7 continents by the summer of 2025, when our oldest, Reagan, heads off to college and our two youngest, Brooklyn and Colt, return to in-person school to start their freshman year.
Four of us are spending the week in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina, but couldn’t miss the opportunity to cross the river and spend one perfect day exploring the sites and bites of a city that’s the oldest city in Georgia and almost a half-century older than the US itself.
Savannah is known as the most haunted place in the country and as the one civil war city that was too beautiful to destroy, but we’re just here to experience the top local dishes at the most iconic establishments. Let’s start devouring.
