Our recent tour of New England led us to coastal Maine, where we HAD to get our hands on some tasty local lobster. But there was no way we were gonna just order from a menu when we could instead put our kids to work AND get a behind-the-scenes look at this strangely secretive industry. So we chartered a boat and a licensed lobster fisherman to take us out on the ocean in search of our next meal.

After 4 nights in a private seaside home in Nantucket, we jumped on a tiny plane back to the mainland where we spent a night in downtown Boston and then started our quick road trip North to Cliff House Maine in Cape Neddick / York.
