We’re spending 2 nights right on the legendary Royal Mile of the Old Town in Edinburgh, Scotland, making it super convenient to experience the local culture, the can’t-miss sites, some authentic bites, and some barrel-aged sips that can only come from these lands.

We’re checking out of our London rental and trekking north to the Scottish Highlands. But instead of flying or driving to the home of the elusive Loch Ness monster, we’re getting there by rail and we’re sleeping most of the way for our first overnight sleeper train experience.
