Experience Antarctica With Us

December 4-19, 2024

We’ve launched Seven Continents, Seven Ways and we’re inviting you to join us for the coolest leg of the journey: exploring Antarctica.

The magic of Antarctica is its timeless majesty and pristine beauty. Those who have seen it claim it’s impossible to adequately describe, that you must go yourself. We think that’s a great suggestion and one we’d like to accept with a few friends. We’ve assembled a semi-custom voyage that is nothing short of magical. See penguins, whales and other diverse wildlife, kayak around icebergs and massive glaciers, hike along the majestic continent and see the wonders of this continent up close.

Become Part of the Story

Antarctica — It lay undetected for most of recorded time, beyond the margins of the known world. Even after someone stumbled on it, its isolation and the necessary rigors of the journey kept all but the most intrepid away. Those who did return ran short of superlatives to describe its magnificence.

We’ll go to Antarctica in a style undreamed by those ardent early pioneers. But what awaits us there — the snowy, sentinel mountain ranges, teeming penguin colonies and stately parades of monumental icebergs; the sight of an albatross effortlessly gliding across an ink-blue sea and the unexpected rainbow of mist arising from a breaching whale — all of that is virtually unchanged from the time before its discovery.

3 Nights in Buenos Aires

This adventure will take us to not one, but two, continents. We’ll start our journey in Argentina’s sprawling, cosmopolitan capital city, lined with stately 19th-century buildings and bursting with latin culture.

* Our customized itinerary adds 2 additional hotel nights to the start of the trip. Great for adjusting to the time zone, resting from a long travel day, and meeting other passengers in our group.

Cruise ship crossing the Drake Passage

The Drake Passage

One of the most exhilarating features of our adventure, The Drake Passage is the body of water between South America's Cape Horn, Chile, Argentina, and the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica. It connects the southwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean with the southeastern part of the Pacific Ocean and extends into the Southern Ocean.

* Do you tend to get seasick? The Seabourn crew has all the tricks and medications needed to minimize discomfort during this leg of the trip. So don’t worry!

Orcas And Whales From Our Zodiacs

Guests will be accompanied by a veteran Expedition Team, who in many cases have made Antarctica the focus of their life’s work. They’ll tell you what they know, point out what they think you ought to see, and step ashore with you to share the profound experience of adventure and discovery that brings them back year after year.

* Multiple zodiac tours and landings are included in our discounted bookings.

Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge

A completely exhilarating (and totally optional) bucket list experience is to jump from the ship and into the frigid ocean waters. If you have the desire and the guts, this is something you can’t miss.

Antarctic adventurers lying in snow with penguins

Up-Close And Personal With Penguins

We’ll have many opportunities for frequent wildlife sightings from the ship and on shore. The Onboard Expedition team will be providing narration and insight to all aspects of the experience.

* We’re told to stay 5m away from wildlife. We’ll see if Colt listens.

Bartender pouring a martini

1,000-Year-Old Cocktails

We’ve heard that the perfectly clear chunks of ice that you find floating on the surface while kayaking are more than a thousand years old. What’s more, you can grab one, bring it back to the ship, and have the bartender use it to create your favorite drink!

All Veranda, All Ocean-Front Suites

No matter what you pay, you can’t get stuck in an interior, windowless stateroom on the Seabourn Venture. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors to its private balcony that overlooks the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

5-Star Dining Options

From upscale restaurants to the caviar on-demand, sushi bar, casual eateries, and in-suite menus, Seabourn Venture offers such a wide range of dining options that you’ll never get “fed up” with the variety of incredible foods.

* All dining venues are complimentary, dine where, when and with whom you wish

Seabourn sauna

Onboard Activities For Days

The action may be outside the ship, but there’s no shortage of things to enjoy on-board. Seabourn’s spa and wellness center, sauna, fitness center, shopping, social square, whirlpools, dancing, and card room will help make the downtime just as memorable as the excursions.

Seaborn Venture submarine

Submarine Experiences

Consider it the ultimate luxury perk on the ultimate luxury expedition ships: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the wonders of the ocean floor in the comfort of Seabourn’s custom submarines.

* Submarine excursions available for an extra cost

Limited Edition Ornament

We wanted to send our group home with a truly unique souvenir, so Phil designed and manufactured a limited run of steel tree ornaments that resemble luggage tags and that feature the details from our expedition.

 Our Ship: Seabourn Venture

To reach some of the most coveted, remote destinations in the world, Seabourn Venture has been constructed with the hardware and technology necessary to operate capably while delivering a guest experience filled with luxury comforts that leaves travelers wanting for nothing.
