Christmas Giveaway // Eggnog Hump Day Happy Hour with #LockwoodEffect

Homemade eggnog recipe:
6 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 cups milk
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon for garnish
Mix the egg yolks and sugar until smooth. In medium sauce pan, mix cream, milk, nutmeg and salt. Heat until barely boiling. Temper the eggs by adding a small amount of milk liquid until you've added about two cups. Then pour into the sauce pan and stir until well mixed. Remove from heat. Once cooled enough, pour into a pitcher. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours. Serve with whiskey, brandy, bourbon or – whichever is your favorite.
