Our Top Long-Haul Travel Gear
It’s time once again for a marathon travel day with a long-haul flight. This time, we’re leaving Denver and flying back to the Philippines by way of Los Angeles and San Francisco. So, 2 short flights, followed by a 14-hour+ leg across the Pacific.
Staying at Fantasy Lodge Cebu in The Philippines
We’re at Hong Kong airport but not for long because we’re about to hop on a 3-hour flight to take us to Cebu City (one of our favorite places in the world). Then we have a 3:45 minute drive to get us to the southern tip of the island where we’re gonna have an incredible few days at the Fantasy Lodge.
Overnight Experience at Hong Kong Airport
We’ve just finished a phenomenal jaunt through the coast and jungles of Bali, but now we’re leaving Indonesia and heading back to our favorite destination of the Philippines to complete a few Cebu adventures that got caught in the chopping block last year. But it’s not a straight flight and we’re taking two days to get there, so we’re gonna find a way to spend the night in Hong Kong… without leaving the airport, without booking a hotel room, and without causing a kiddo meltdown.
Will business class help our kids' jet lag on long-haul flights?
The next leg of our journey is from Tokyo to San Francisco and we're really hoping that we're gonna get upgraded to the United Polaris business class. If you're not familiar with Polaris, think the private pods with lie-flat seats.
