Will business class help our kids' jet lag on long-haul flights?

We just finished another whirlwind tour of Southeast Asia that took us to the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. And our travel day back to the US started in Hanoi yesterday and took us into Bangkok where we spent the night before catching our flight from Bangkok to here in Tokyo. The next leg of this journey is from Tokyo to San Francisco and we're really hoping that we're gonna get upgraded to the United Polaris business class. If you're not familiar with Polaris, think the private pods with lie-flat seats. It's a game-changer and on a long flight like this (9.5 hours), it may make a huge difference.
