Milan to Paris by high-speed train: better than flying?
After spending the past week in Florence and Milan, we’re leaving Italy and traveling to a killer 2-bedroom suite in the heart of Paris. By train. That takes 7 hours. Will this trip feel like a scenic and relaxing journey through the French countryside? Or a never-ending trek with eight bags and couple of tired and hungry kids? We’re about to find out.

Eating like the locals in best city in the world
We’re still here in the best city in the world (according to Travel & Leisure) and part of what makes San Miguel so cool is its eclectic food scene. These bites may not be as adventurous as some of the street foods we just tried in Cebu City, but they’re bound to be every bit as delicious.

Singapore Airlines Economy or United Airlines Premium Economy?
As we wrap up our 3-week, 11-flight trip in Southeast Asia, we’re beginning ending through Singapore. Heading home, we’re flying Singapore Airlines into Changi and flying United back out. Obviously, we’re curious to see just how these two airlines stack up. As Premier 1k flyers, United definitely has our loyalty, but everything we’ve heard about Singapore’s flight experience has us wondering if there’s a better way to travel into and out of Asia.
We ate EVERY Filipino street food in Cebu City, Philippines (even balut!)

From fishballs to horse balls, blood to intestines, and eel babies to duck embryos.

Devouring Singapore—from Hawker Centers to Michelin Stars
Singapore is a relatively young city-state that’s about 74% Chinese, 14% Malay, and 9% Indian. That means they have no single official language and very little in the way of official national symbols. But because the culture of this area goes back at least a thousand years, the one thing you’ll find that is purely Singaporean is its food. And our family is out to sample the full range, from authentic food stalls to Michelin starred dishes.
