We tried Vietnam's famous Ha Long Bay cruise
After spending a couple of nights in downtown Hanoi, we decided to head back onto the water for a 2-day luxury cruise through the spectacular Ha Long Bay. The only problem is that the company that booked our voyage has completely ghosted us and missed our morning pickup. So we've scrambled to rebook with another provider just hours prior to embarking. We have just 3.5 hours to arrive at the dock and a 3-hour taxi ride to get there.

Jumping into adventure in Siargao, Philippines
After a one-day delay caused by a missed flight connection, we've made it to the beautiful island of Siargao in the Philippines. Since we've missed a day of island hopping and adventure, we're teaming up with a couple of locals to pack as much into just two nights as possible.

Today, we’re packing up and leaving our beachside rooms in Donsol, where we tried unsuccessfully to swim with the local whale sharks. We’re heading to the island of Siargao, but our first of two flights is already delayed by an hour, putting our Manila connection in jeopardy. Will we make it to the laid-back surf destination this afternoon—or will we have to come up with an exciting Plan B?

This rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman sea is home to some of the country’s most beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters. But since we’re only here for two nights, we have to find as many authentic, local experiences as possible so that we can get to know the culture of Phuket in one perfect day.

We spent two nights in a riverfront jungle compound that’s just a stone’s throw from the neighboring countries of Myanmar and Laos. On the final night, we slept under the stars, in a big clear bubble, among a community of beautiful rescue elephants—at one of the top eco resorts on the planet.
