Devouring Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
This week we’re in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, known as a mecca for soaring skyscrapers, big-budget Hollywood films, and one of the most colorful cultures we’ve encountered in the past 3 years. No place captures the flavor of that culture more than the streets of the city, so we’re braving the humidity, dodging the afternoon showers, and heading out in search of the top sites and bites.

Exploring the real-life Hollywood set from The Truman Show
Many Hollywood movies are filmed on sets that appear to be real locations, but Jim Carrey's film The Truman Show was filmed in a real location that they pretended was a Hollywood set. That location, which is called Seahaven in the film, is actually Seaside, Florida, along the state's Emerald Coast (or 30A) and it's one of the most influential and charming towns in the world.
Filipino Food: Philippines vs USA
We've been stuck in The States for almost 2 months and eating almost every meal at home. And because food culture is such a big part of our travel adventures, we're all getting a little bit hangry for some of our international favorites. We're not even sure we can make it a couple more weeks until we're back in Southeast Asia, but luckily we just heard about a relatively new filipino restaurant that's just a few minutes' drive from our house.
