South Africa

E1: Stalking Africa's “Big Five” In Phinda (Part 1)

After 11 days exploring major cities of South Africa, we’ve headed to the bush for 3 days of safari. We search for the most coveted species on the continent (and we don’t walk away empty-handed).

E2: Stalking Africa's “Big Five” In Phinda (Part 2)

On our second and third days at Phinda Private Game Reserve, we're in search of more beautiful wildlife — and we finally find the one member of Africa's Big Five that's proven most elusive.

E3: We Found the Rarest Safari Animal On Earth (And It’s Adorable)

Since our very fruitful game drives around Phinda already checked off all of Africa’s Big Five, we’re focusing this safari on spotting a few other exciting animals, including one of the rarest on Earth.

Asia

Anantara is so much more than luxury lodging — they’re architects of extraordinary memories. Through them, travelers take journeys of discovery through the world's most captivating destinations. Dive with mantas and whale sharks across the Pacific. Sleep among elephants in the jungles of Thailand. Soar above the sparkling coastlines of southern Spain. And explore the rugged terrain and exotic wildlife of southern Africa.

United Arab Emirates

E4: Dubai Off the Beaten Path: By Sea, Air, and Land

Our family’s catching a flight from our part-time home in the Philippines to the opposite side of Asia, touching down in the city and emirate of Dubai. Even though this is our first time in the UAE, we’re bypassing the obvious tourist traps in search of some Arabian adventure that’s more off the beaten path.

E5: Finding Hidden Treasure In Abu Dhabi

Come along as our family drives hours through the Arabian desert from the emirate of Dubai and into the history of Abu Dhabi, rolling (quite literally) through one of the most remote and captivating landscapes on the planet.

Oceania

Four Seasons

Four Seasons is the pinnacle of adventure lodging experiences. Their portfolio spans yachts, private jets, and some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts on the planet. But what is luxury, really? Their answer may surprise you. To them, true luxury is a meaningful sense of belonging. It is a dedicated focus on how people want to be treated, grounded in the genuine care travelers experience during their stay and defined by an abundance of humanity and generosity. We’ve experienced this approach first-hand throughout our stay at Four Seasons Kyoto and now we have the opportunity to experience it again in Sydney, Australia.

Australia

E6: Sydney, Australia — From The Ground Up

We’ve headed down under for our first true taste of the continent of Oceania. We’re staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney and taking their team’s suggestions on the city’s can’t-miss sites and bites. From sea level architecture and sky-high gazing to kangaroo steak and cocktail confections, we’re devouring Australia from the ground up.

E7: Caring For Australia’s Wildlife

We’re catching a ride to Featherdale Wildlife Park to get up-close and personal with the largest community of Australian critters in the world. Watch Brooklyn feed the planet’s happiest animal while Colt tries his hand at caring for the world’s smallest breed of penguins.

North America

Despite the common misconception that Marriott is a simple chain of cookie-cutter hotels, the brands of Marriott Internal are diverse. From St Regis and The Ritz-Carlton to JW Marriott and W Hotels, their portfolio boasts an enormous variety of resorts and experiences, including overwater bungalows in Fiji, safari lodges in Zambia, and yachts in the Mediterranean.

United States

E8: 72 Hours In North America’s Hottest Travel Destination

We’ve left the snow-capped mountains of Colorado for the hottest desert in North America. Oh — and we’ve timed it for the middle of summer.

E9: California’s Millionaire Island That’s Not Actually An Island

With a median home value of $2.5M, Coronado is one of the priciest zip codes in the US. One reason is that it’s surrounded by water, so there are very few places to build more homes. But the bigger factor is that it’s one of the safest, most beautiful, most exclusive, most charming, and most convenient islands in North America.

Europe

Travelers can find everything from charming mountain cabins and lakeside lodges to breathtaking city apartments and luxury homes, or anything in between, all with an array of features to make the trip more comfortable and convenient.

E10: London To Scotland On An 11-Hour Sleeper Train

We’re checking out of our London rental and trekking north to the Scottish Highlands. But instead of flying or driving to the home of the elusive Loch Ness monster, we’re getting there by rail and we’re sleeping most of the way for our first overnight sleeper train experience.

E11: What To Do On Edinburgh’s “Royal Mile”

After taking our first overnight sleeper train from London to Inverness to visit the Scottish Highlands, we’re catching a fast rail back down to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh.

Antarctica

The magic of Antarctica is its timeless majesty and pristine beauty. Those who have seen it claim it’s impossible to adequately describe, that you must go yourself. We think that’s a great suggestion and one we’re accepting with a few dozen friends. We’ve assembled a semi-custom voyage that is nothing short of magical. See penguins, whales and other diverse wildlife, kayak around icebergs and massive glaciers, hike along the majestic continent and see the wonders of this continent up close.
