Southern Oregon winery tour: Better than Willamette Valley?

For the past 2 years, our family of five has been traveling the world on a quest to experience 110 distinct cultures across all 7 continents by the summer of 2025, when our oldest, Reagan, heads off to college and our two youngest, Brooklyn and Colt, begin in-person high school.

We’re about to start 3 incredible months of back-to-back trips across the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, and more, but for our final stateside trip of the year, we decided to fly out to visit Erin’s parents here in Medford, Oregon and spend 3 days touring some of the best wineries in the region. We’re hours north of Napa and still south of the better-known Willamette Valley, but word from the locals is that southern Oregon produces some of the best-kept secrets in American winemaking.
